Paul,

I wasn't really meaning anything that technical.

I was thinking in terms of 4 screenshots -:

- Playlist screen

- Shoutcast screen

- MP3/OGG screen

- Options

and showing what each was used for.

It is so long since I have installed the standard program so I can't remember but is it that obvious that

- you don't have to set up playlists?

- you can go to the Shoutcast screen and be provided with a massive array of stations (sorted by genre)?

- the program will automatically find MP3s in your /PSP/MUSIC folder?

- the easiest way to exit the program is via the Options screen?

I would knock something simple up but I just don't have screenshots available that use the standard interface. My disk is littered with screenshots of my new skins - but using them would only serve to confuse the issue.

If nobody steps up to the plate and when the New Year celebrations have become a distant memory, I will re-load the standard skin and try and put something together.

... unless someone else beats me to it!

Regards,

David

I have your guide posted in the guides section.. Should help alot.. Again Thanks much for the clean work...

Some thing I wanted to mention now that I have played abit.. remeber to try to differentiate PSPRadio Probles and Loader problems. I can see where the loader can cause problems that may look like a problem with PSPRadio rapid keystroks looks like one of them.. If you turn off the new feature in the loader for the home key exit it should stop the repeated keystrok problem..

call me converted.. Im on 2.0 and still sorting out the PSP settings on that.. Looks ready good

When I follow what albadross said, the program switches between screens (the blue and orange ones) about 15 times and then the program quits and goes back to the loader.

Sometimes I can get in, but it just locks up right away, usually the first time I see the blue playlists screen.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi Yatahaze,

A lot of people have this problem with PSPRadio on 2.0.

But it is a problem with the 2.0 EBOOT loader and occurs with a number of other programs as well.

My short-term solution with PSPRadio is to press the start button to get it to the Options screen (and under control) and press it again to go back in a sedate manner to one of the playback screens. Pressing Triangle will then take you to the screen you wanted at the start.

The official explanation and much better solution can be found at

http://forums.qj.net/showthread.php?t=30700

Hope this helps,

Yeah, that's what I'm doing as well, except the only difference is when I press the triangle to see the blue playlists screen, or even when i leave the menu and its already at that screen, my psp just locks up and i cant do anything but shut it down.

ALB

Glad to see you back..

Gezz this 2.0 and .9 loader have been the only prblems being reported.. That loader while it works smakes right in the middle of your milage may vary..

we have a 2nd thread that talks of that problem as well in the probem threads..

http://pspradio.sourceforge.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=210

I gave the same resopnce..

The real problem is defining what is a 2.0 .9 loader related problem and a 1.5 problem..

Im thinking if Raf does not give us a location for all things 2.0 I may have to fall back on the official responce.. PSPRadio is not supported under 2.0

Don't get me wrong but we are not here to support the loader program

Hummm Iguess im getting frustrated...

On a diffrent note the start up and shut down screens do not display correctly under 2.0 iether

<HA frustration mode on>

FWIW, my view is that :

- Those who can run it on 1.5 will continue to wish to do so.

- However, there will be a group of people, who have upgraded their PSP to 2.0 to get access to the better features (Browser, GTA LCS, etc) and another group of people, who either can't or don't want to downgrade to 1.5 or won't run the risk of it. I am sure they will continue to try to use PSPRadio on 2.0 if they can - whether it is officially supported by us or not!

<HA frustration mode off>

Did you get my emails?

Exactly. Lets ssee what Fanjita comes up with in the next versions. He knows what he's doing and he's working on support for 2.01 and 2.50 also.

Eventually it will work, and until that there is nothing we can do anyway Smile

Hay but even with all my negitivity of this.. I did upgrade and took the time to make it work. A bit of a pain but doable.. Explaining it is harder than doing it..

I bought King Kong amd GTA so i upgraded to 2.0 and then ran the 2.5 os cheat to get Kong working I also converted all of my Home brew to 1.0 eboots (only one folder that way) and have been using the loader..

Goot every thing i use working under 2.0 albit a bit harder to do (still crashes from time to time while loading) it works..

The only functinality i have lost is running ISO's and that is no great loss I think i have bought most all the new games.. HAHAHAHA

Im up to 10 movies and 14 games on UMD
