hi

i have fw 2.0 and eboot loader 0.9
i'm trying to make the PSPRadio 0.37-Final work.
i have 1 wifi connection that works with no problem via the webbrowser.
now i tried to activate the wifi of the eboot loader so
i put the wifi background,
i restarted it,
then i when to the wifi ready pic, i saw it no problem No freeze. so the i go to the network settings,
then infrastructure and then i pressed triangle
i pressed test connection and it gave me connection succeded,
i return to the main menu and hold left + right + select and eboot loader 0.9 starts,
then i choose pspradio (0.37 final) wait a few sec and it started up.
so then i want to listin to a shoutcast, i chose a radio station and click 'x'
but it says "Error opening stream"
so then i go to the options

now i have tried a few things and it still doenst work,

one thing i tried was go to wifi, press to the right so it will go from 'off' to 'my connection' and press 'x', it says under in the screen
'enabling Network' and then after a few seconds it says Error: Error starting network. while it does this i dont see the green wifi light flash or go on,
so then i try wifi autostart and put it on yes, and then go down to save it, i restart the psp and the whole process to see if it will work, then i go back to the option and see that it has gone back to 'Wifi autostart: NO'.
i also try to see what happens if i turn off the switch and then try the wifi and "my connection" and it says under in the screen Error: The Network switch is OFF, cannot start Network. when i turn it back on i get the same thing as before which says 'enabling Network' and then 'Error: error starting network' and then the green light of the wifi doesnt flash or go on again.

so i think it might be that the wifi is not activated for the eboot loader 0.9, but i did everything it told me to do in the readme of the eboot loader 0.9 to start wifi and i also even checked it with the wifi ready.png file and everything went well....so what am i supposed to do?????

can anyone help me???

Sounds like you did most every thing right.

After PSPRadio is loaded you should see that the green light is still on.. Good..

If your screens are cycling at this point press the left arrow a few times till it stops cycling

next press the start button to select the options screen

arrow over and select you connection (same one started in the wifi hack) make sure you only press it one time if you double press the key it will start and the try to restart the wifi when it does that it disables the wifi green light out and then tries to start it again but the wifi hack is aready dead so you have to unload and start over..

It is finicky but does work.

Also under FW2.0 I do not recomend that you set the wifi on PSPRadio to autostart. But it does work if you only have the one connection (Im sure it would work with more than one but to keep it simple)

Sorry, I would counter Halfast's advice if you only have one connection. I would definitely to set it to autostart your connection in the PSPRadio.cfg file but I think your problem is here.

When it says connection succeeded, DO NOT return to the main menu but press Shoulder left + Shoulder right + Select immediately. This will return you to the EBOOT loader menu (without you having to), the wi-fi light will still be on and you can choose the PSPRadio from there.

Then take Halfast's advice if you can't get the screen under control.

Hope this help,

Halfast,

I do apologize - I wasn't trying to hijack your response.

After all, I haven't even run PSPRadio on my 2.0 machine since I initially got it to work. I am sure you have more experience in running the program on 2.0 than me.

However, I did feel that going through the actions the OP said he had carried out, he might have missed the timimg of the L+R+Select trick.

Hopefully, the OP has got a solution from the both of us,

a

I think i have to have an Icon for tounge in cheek...

I really do not get that worked up about things..

I think between you and me we have loged the most hours on 2.0 with PSPRadio..

On a diffrent note I have been hanging around on the loder site and have been trying to field questions over there too

Funny how i was so dead set against it running or having to support the 2.o stuff.. not that is the only way I run it.. and have to downgrade just to test it native HAHAHAHA

We cool...

I an considering doing a video of the launch proccess do you think that may help the more visual users..

a google search on "Eboot loader v0.9"

produced this.
http://dl.qj.net/2.0-Firmware-Eboot-Loader-v0.9-Hacks-Exploits-Gaming-Consoles-PSP/pg/12/fid/517/catid/114

Im sure they have a fourn that talks about .9 but you will find limmited help here as it is not officially supported under 2.0 >
