alright, so, i got the newest static version and it didn't work

but then i just tried going on the net, and apparently i have to login before i can use the net. so i bet thats why.

i'm going to try and see if i can fix this, but since the psp doesn't let me be on the web and recieve rss at the same time i don't think i can fix this Sad

how are you connectiong to the web. what type of service. It reall requires a wep or no wep connection that supports dhcp and no password or login pages (like would be used by a hotel) so any hot spot should work

I am in a hotel in washington DC right now and can connect to the local wifi no problem and have it work.

again it requires no athentication so it works just fine

theres no key encryption or anything, but when i connect with the web browser it automatically brings me to the school's webpage and asks me to login before i can visit any other page

i think this is why it doesn't work.

That would be it.. woder if you used the web browser and then loged in if it would cashe the connection

then you could load PSPradio and see if it could connect

not much chanc of this working but it might...

or you could get a router have it log in for you and connect then it could feed the pspradio with the ip..

I wonder if this would be a workaround

http://us.codejunkies.com/shop/product.asp?c=US&cr=USD&cs=$&r=0&l=1&ProdID=711

the pc would authenticat and then the psp would connect to the pc..

just a thought

Not sure if you're willing to try this. But if you downgrade to 1.5 (you can from 2.0), then using the dynamic version, you could use the retawq browser to authenticate...

Hi!

I was wondering if the problem of the "hanging on exit" is fixed yet and if you need more testers Smile

My setup:

PSP FW 2.5
eLoader: 0.97 (Bock)
PSPRadio 0.38.11 static

The program itself is running perfectly over my wireless router, even with WEP encryption and stuff. Really great.

The only problem is that when I want to close the program it just hangs. I press Start and choose the option Exit PSPRadio. Then the "Shutting Down System" screen appears and the PSP hangs.

Battery at the moment of the problem was at 40ish %. If you need more info just let me know Smile

My understanding is that if you exit PSPRadio in the normal PSP way (i.e. using the Home button), this now works. It does on f/w 1.5 for me.

Anyway, give it a try!
