i seem to have followed the guide to the tee
http://forums.qj.net/showthread.php?t=22328
but i press play on my pspr and it says
ERROR: ERROR CONNECTING - TIMEOUT
but all the other shoutcast work
and in my log i have this and i dont know what it means

<04/07/06@18:36:47> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave extended error (Cannot see your station/computer (IP: 65.3.192.231:8000) from the Internet, disable Internet Sharing/NAT/firewall/ISP cache (Connection timed out).)

Hmm,
it seems to me, that your Firewall / Router blocks your shoutcast stream to the internet.
Maybe you need to alow Winamp to connect to the internet, maybe you need to enable a Port forwarding on your Router.

i my self havent dared the step to stream to the internet and just installed the oddcast winamp plugin and an icecast2 server to stream local. My stream doesnt reach the shoutcast db and i acess it via a custom playlist from a local IP. (if my reply doesnt make sense i am to drunk, sorry)

yea i also did enable port forwarding on my router through port8000 and it still doesnt work

Maybe ther's another blockage from your Firewall?
