at work I can connect to any playlist no problem with DHCP mode.

whereas at home, either as DHCP or Static, whenever I try to play a playlist, I get the Error Opening Stream
when I try to download a new playlist I get the Error Connecting - Timeout.

I'm guessing its a firewall port error?
but I already have port 8080 open for my PSP, unless I need to open another port instead?
the Links2 plugin works fine aswell.

hmz,
does the 'network update' work at home for you?
does the network setup report a sucessful internet connection?
maybe your acesspoint doesnt support the IEEE 802.11b standard fully.
maybe you dont only need to forward the ports but 'unblock' them.

i realy dont know, sorry ^^

good luck!

1. the network updates works at home
2. I see the staic IP when I connect to my local network
3. not sure, but my router is a D-Link DI-524
4. the problem is I dont know which ports to forward/unblock. I even tried DMZ

thanks for trying to help.

There seem to be a very high percent of D-Link owners that report problems..

Some have downloaded and upgraded the router software to get the PSP to play nice.. you may want to try that as well..
